I have many hobbies and loves outside of learning. I am currently a freshman at a highly diverse school in Nashville, that bases growth around social emotional learning along with academic achievement. I have 3 older brothers and a younger sister, along with an adorable poodle named Shadow. I'll list a few of my hobbies for you, but I love doing a TON of different things in my day. It's also pretty important to note that I'm a Middle Tennessee Girl Scout for Troop 362, and this website is actually a piece of my Silver Award! I've been a girl scout ever since I was a Brownie, and my sister's been there along my side ever since she was a Daisy. As a Cadette now, I've learned a lot.
Recently, both of my parents tested positive for Covid 19. It was scary to say the least, considering that they both are vaccinated and are pretty healthy. I didn't know how okay they really felt versus how comfortable they wanted me to feel. It's all over now and they're alright, but it's certainly something that I'll never forget. If your family is going through complications with Covid 19 or the idea of a global pandemic scares you, I personally want you know that it is alright. I can't say much on the effects or how it'll affect you as a person, but I hope more than anything that you can stay strong and take the right steps to get through it just like I did. |
My Hobbies!Piano! I've been playing for almost 8 years now, and it makes me so happy to be able to recreate music and melodies.
Volleyball! I've only been playing for 2 years, but it is such an inclusive and rewarding sport. I play on my school's Junior Varsity team right now, but I hope someday to play for my varsity team or even coach young kids. Cooking! I have had an obsession with food ever since I was a child, and I have grown to love the idea of being creative with health. My favorite dishes are tomato and pasta based, but it brings me so much joy to be creative and expressive with how I present food. Geometry! Should I even explain this? Who doesn't love math? Creating! I wouldn't necessarily call it art, but the ability to paint and build and explore ways that I can make things that I want in the world have always been exciting. I love challenging myself, so making my own hoodies or bookshelves or rearranging my room when I feel like it gives me so much power over my own little world. Gaming! Although I am an extremely new gamer and have barely stepped toes into the gaming community, I have recently enjoyed playing small sided games along with friends very much. My favorite games to play right now are Splatoon2 and Animal Crossing, and I have recently gotten into a new amazing game called Spiritfarer. I get way more attached to gaming characters than I do to tv shows or movies, so feeling a connection to a deep message that I get to build and interact with makes me very happy. |
